Notes:

12 ensemble’s debut LP ‘Resurrection’ is a powerful collection of works for strings that transform the old into the new.Alongside the premiere recordings of Kate Whitleys Autumn Songs and Bryce Dessners Rponse Lutosawski, the LP features Lutosawskis personal and emotional tribute to Bartk, Musique Funbre. Formed in 2012 the 12 ensembles unique approach to performing & programming sets them apart as a revolutionary classical ensemble for the 21st century. Always playing without a conductor, their performances combine the energy, excitement and creativity of a small ensemble with the breathtaking sound afforded by a string orchestra.
